United Opens New Branch in Fernley; Karolina Ciesielska Takes Over as Branch Manager

FERNLEY, Nev. – United Federal Credit Union (United) is once again expanding its footprint in Nevada. United opened a new branch in Fernley on Tuesday, April 1, 2025. United has been operating in Nevada since 2009. The Fernley branch is United’s tenth location in the state.
“United is committed to expanding our reach to members here in Nevada,” said Meredith Williams, United Regional Vice President. “This Fernley location is our second new branch in the western part state in the last year. We are proud to be part of the growing community here in Lyon County. United will now be able to offer even more options for our members when they need personalized in-branch service. We are excited for this community to get to know us as we work to offer them great products and services, while supporting community events and programs.”

Leading the team at the Fernley branch is Karolina Ciesielska. She has been with United since November.
In her new role, Ciesielska will be responsible for maintaining the performance of the branch and providing leadership and supervision to staff.
Ciesielska brings 17 years of financial and customer service experience to her new role. She began her career working for Citibank in Poland before moving into a Member Representative role with a credit union in California. Prior to coming to United, she was a branch manager at a Nevada credit union.
In the community, Ciesielska serves as a board director for the Fernley Chamber of Commerce. She is looking forward to continuing to assist our Members and serving the Fernley community.
