United Hires Chief Commercial Officer to Lead Business Lending and Deposit Growth

ST. JOSEPH, Mich. – United Federal Credit Union (United) is pleased to announce the appointment of Renee Johnson as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO). Johnson will join United’s Strategic Leadership Team and will oversee all aspects of the Commercial business line, including Commercial Operations, Commercial Sales, and Small Business Association (SBA) lending.
“Commercial and Small Business Lending is an integral part of United’s growth strategy that will be positively impacted by Renee’s vision as a leader and extensive financial services experience,” said United’s President/CEO, Terry O’Rourke. “Her knowledge and strategic mindset will be invaluable as we continue to enhance our business member engagement and personalization efforts.”
With over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, Johnson brings an exceptional record of building high-performance teams and developing and implementing winning strategies that exceed objectives in sales growth, profitability, and compliance.
Most recently, Johnson served as SVP, Director of Business Banking Virtual Channel for Citizens Bank, where she successfully launched a new virtual channel covering 11 states, 375 branches, and 20,000 customers.
